Generally speaking, the watches we usually wear are waterproof. Of course, the waterproof level is different, so you should pay attention to protection when wearing it. Like the splashes when washing hands, getting caught in the rain, bathing, or swimming. A higher level of waterproofness is diving.
The minimum waterproofness of the watches we produce is 5ATM (50 meters). This is the most common use for leisure, entertainment and work. This not only ensures waterproofness but also helps control the production cost of the watch. Because diving watches are also one of the most produced types of watches in our factory. It ranges from 10ATM (100 meters) to 100ATM (meters). Therefore, the required water resistance test equipment must be able to withstand the test of the diving watch depth.
First of all, when the watch case is produced, it will complete a water resistance test. This is a separate test to check whether the water resistance of the watch case meets the production requirements. Secondly, after the watch is assembled, the watch is tested for water resistance again. After two rigorous water resistance tests, the finished watches are almost 100% water resistant, for example 30ATM (300 meters). Our staff will conduct tests according to different levels of ATMs to meet the requirements of customers.
